The program is designed specifically for boys ages 13 to 17 who are struggling with behavioral challenges, lack of motivation, or other life-controlling issues. Students come from across the United States to participate in a structured environment where they can step away from negative influences and focus on personal growth, character development, and rebuilding their relationships with family. 
The academy operates year-round on a large rural campus of more than 900 acres. This setting provides a peaceful and focused environment where boys can develop responsibility and discipline while participating in a wide variety of activities. The residential program typically lasts about 12 to 15 months, giving students time to work through personal challenges and build lasting habits that support a healthy and productive lifestyle. 
At the heart of the program is a strong emphasis on Christian faith and character development. Staff members mentor students daily and provide biblical counseling, group discussions, and personal discipleship designed to help young men understand their choices and develop a deeper sense of purpose. The goal is to encourage genuine life transformation by addressing attitudes, values, and decision-making patterns. Through this process, boys are encouraged to develop integrity, respect for authority, and a renewed commitment to their future. 
Academics are also an important part of life at Brush Creek Academy. Students attend classes through a fully accredited private school that allows them to continue working toward high school credits and graduation.
